Experience the beauty the backcountry has to offer.

Departure from hotel or Dragoman Travel office and transfer to trekking location. We head off to a Gokceoren village where is 600 meters above sea level and start the hike from here.   Our route passes through quiet villages, deep gorge, limestone uplands, Lycian rock-cut tombs and natural pine forests. Numerous villages with traditional architecture are found here and you can follow a delightful trail back to Kalkan-Kas road, offering beautiful views of the area.

Initially the trail follows maquis inland tracks through olive groves but then travels west towards the coast, passing through picturesque old villages. The route now goes up over Gokceoren pass (500 meters) whose terrace is an excellent viewpoint. The panorama, looking back Kas Archipelago, is breathtaking. At the pass we have lunch with magnificent scenery.

After long break with a lunch box, first visiting ancient rock-cut tombs, the descent on a well-graded mule track leads to the quiet, little village of Baldiraz which soon takes you through a tractor road to Uc Kuyu where we pass a typical Taurus village. Following the steep downwards path, which offers a splendid panorama on the limpid turquoise water, we walk to a small beach where we can enjoy a swim before returning to Kas. Opportunities for swimming, exploring or lazing at Seyret Beach! This is where we end our hike and return to the hotels.
